Three Bags Wool is very much a family affair. With myself Sarah running all the day to day duties and functions of the shop and everyone else having to put up with endless requests for help in packing, shop fitting, knitting, shop minding, child minding, collecting, meeting, and every other thing you can imagine. We began as a wool shop that also sold fair trade wool and wooden products along with sheepskins and sheepskin products. Now we have extended each of these areas to include knitwear for mainly children but some adult things too.

We take on commission work and sell other peoples work on their behalf.  

We also have a fasinating choice of unique handmade buttons which are made by ourselves. This is a simple process which Sarah encourages others to try for themselves. Workshops to date have been very successful in button making and many of our customers now enjoy finishing off their creations with their own handmade buttons. Our latest venture is hand dying yarn. It’s very satisfying to create your own unique yarns and for others to appreciate the combinations and contrasts. To sum it up it could be described as a feast for the eyes, a inspiration for the mind and a great place for those with a creative nature to visit and dream up new ideas.

Our new gallery premesis allow us to stock a wider range of products with many local artisans now exibiting their products with us giving you a truely inspirational visit.
